So, I have been thinking about the secret today...you know, the power of positive thinking. Here has always been my cynical non-positive thinking thought, that sometimes you just are not going to get what you want, because the universe has other plans for you. How do positive thought and destiny even fit together? Example, those crushes you had when you were young? The ones were you could barely breath if the object of your adoration so much as looked at you....the one you dreamed about, and thought about non-stop for months on end? How come even when you wanted something SO badly, it just didn't happen? Is it because you weren't positive enough, sure that it would happen, or maybe just because it wasn't meant to be. Maybe that's too specific for the secret...the whole, don't do a love spell for one specific person but for the person who is right for you thing. I mean, if it's your destiny for this one specific thing to happen to you, good or bad, isn't that going to happen regardless of your positive thoughts? I don't really have anywhere to go with it all...just pondering.

In other news...Ms. Crampy demands chocolate or candy or something that has the word "sugar" as the first ingredient....must resist the sugar cravings...they lead to the dark side...and by that I mean the dark chocolate side...mmmmm...

I have Mr. Crampy in my back. It demands sour patch kids and Jack Daniels
I always think that just positive thinking, you actually have to do something about what you want. It takes work too. So, for example, did you ever ask one of those guys out that you adored? Did you ever at least step forward and tell them how you felt? (Probably not, I realize how devistating that is as a kid!). So, if you don't do anything about what you want, it may not happen. And, as you said, of course, there is always your destiny.

There is much more then sitting on your tush and waiting for everything you think about to come for you!

Sugar = Good! I hope you found something to quelch your sweet tooth!!!
Of course it takes work :) But when I was dating I met quite a few guys I really really liked and wanted to be with and I spent a lot of time that turned out being...well...'filler' time until I met Justin. I knew when I met him that I wouldn't be 'settling' for anything like I would have been with those other guys. I made a few friends out of the bargain but you can't focus your desire on one person and expect everything to work out perfectly because of your effort and positive thought if the universe says, "No! That's not The Person, no matter how much he/she makes you drool!" You have to focus your energies on the end outcome: finding your best earthly match, your soul mate, your true love, and realize that there will be disappointment and sorrow and hurt along the way.

I think of the law of attraction and the power of positive thinking as tools rather than actual destinies. I do believe the universe has big plans for each of us, and if we go with the flow, doors will be opened up to us that we never imagined. Now, that is where the law of attraction and positive thinking come in, when we open that door and see what is offered to us. They can help us refine the path, but they aren't *the* path.

Also...Marshmallow Bunnies. Mmmmmm. Dissolve in your mouth goodness!
