It truly is evil. I have had this dry cough since Tuesday, probably from the change of humidity between LA and here, and last night I took some Robitussin cough syrup to help me sleep. Not a good idea. Woke up so cold that I was shaking. Shaking so much that RD thought I was having convulsions. Even with two blankets (one of them down filled) on. Finally RD ran the bath and that seemed to help a bit. Alternated between blazing infero heat and ice cube cold. RD took my temp this morning and it was 39.6 C (over 103 F). Add to that dizziness, coughing, and the basic inability to move, it was a pretty crappy morning. Tylenol brought down the fever but yikes....
I repeat, Robitussin is pure evil. I will never buy it again...or take it again
On a positive note, at least now I know what it will be like when I hit menopause.
